This composition was written in homage to two of my favorite current jazz fusion artists: Sam Green eld and Cory Wong. It aims to include many tropes and “isms” of the two artists, as well as some of their contemporaries such Jon Lampley , Jacob Mann, and Louis Cole. This chart includes a trombone solo and guitar solo, both in the styles of the two artists respectively . This is fashioned through mashing-up two different charts into one in a creative and unique way. It also includes some auxiliary rhythm section instruments such as organ and key bass / electric bass, all of which are pertinent for the sound and style of the chart.
