“Smack Talk!” is a heavy trombone section feature and travels through many different styles all held together by a riff. This chart is designed to push the boundaries between genres and be a thesis that Black American Music is all part of one lineage. It includes solos for all the trombones as well as fun style changes between swing, backbeat, and New Orleans second line (which can involve some brief clarinet doubling for Tenor Sax 2).
